Also a Euphemia Scott worked in the Jamieson household when Helen was there. Were they sisters?)

Anecdote*It was said by Nan Hunter that she was a cousin to Sir Walter Scott, though it has to be said that no such connection has been established. Perhaps she was a distant cousin She also said that her family were cabinet makers in Princess Street Edinburgh.1
