Birth*circa August 1846, Rothbury, England, , Research Note: There are Birth records for William Orr of Rothbury in both 1845 and 1846. Also a Death record for William Orr of Rothbury in 1845 2Q. The likelihood is that the first William died and the next in line was also called William. However William Orr the father died in April 1845 and William 2 was not born until 3Q of 1846. This raises some questions about either the records, or William 2 parents. An interesting thing is that the 1851 census lists William 2 as the son of Joshua Tennant. Other censuses label him as stepson.4,1
