- She married John Ogle 21 April 1836 at Longhorsley, England, . (The marriage of Anne Isabella to the John Ogle mentioned in the census records has to be seriously questioned. See the research note for John).3
- Ann Isabella Coxon died 1859. (Lois Saleeba quotes two possible GRO references to her death, 1852, Chester Le Street, or 1859, Castle Ward. I prefer the Castle Ward one, which is near Morpeth, and closer to Hebron where John spent much of his life. By the 1871 census John is married to Mary).4
- On the night of the Census of 7 June 1841 she was at Follions, Whittingham, England, . (It's not certain that the Mark Coxon identified in this census record is a correct match, the age does not match, but Mark is a very unusual given name in the Coxon family).5
- On the night of the Census of 30 March 1851 she was living as the wife of John Ogle at Cambois, England, .6
- Researcher's Note: The Ogles seem to disappear off the census map after the 1851 census! Records for a John Ogle from 1861 born in 1807 don't match John's known earlier family.

- Nancy was quite clear that she was called after a Great Aunt Annie Bell, who kept the Temperence Hotel in Rothbury. However as far as can be traced the relatives at the Temperance Hotel were Great Aunt Ann Scott (ne Coxon) and husband, Joseph, who were living there in the 1901 census. The name "Ann" would certainly fit into this memory.11

- Father*: George Coxon1 b. s 1667, d. a 1713
- Mother*: Sarah Hedley b. s 1672
- Relationship: 5th great-grandfather of The Rev Robert Stoker Wilson.
- Anthony Coxon was born circa 1700 (DOB estimated from DOM, allow marriage at 30yrs age).2
- He was the son of George Coxon and Sarah Hedley.1
- Anthony Coxon married Jane Brown 14 January 1730 at Elsdon, England, .3,2
- Anthony Coxon died January 1780 at Woollaw, Elsdon, England, .4
- He was buried on 23 January 1780 at The Churchyard, Elsdon, England, .4
- Researcher's Note: There is an open question as to whether the link from William of Overgras to Anthony & Jane of Redesdale is valid. It calls for a 2 year error in DOD on gravestone, not unusual but not rock solid. Two of his sons were called William and George, the same names as possible fathers brothers. But if he was the son of Anthony then he has chosen not to call any of his sons after his father. For the time being I have chosen to assume the link is valid, until proven otherwise.5
- Researcher's Note: Anthony is the earliest Coxon ancestor traced with some certainty, but see the research notes for William Coxon which explains a possible question between Anthony of Redesdale and William of Overgrass.
The Coxon's lived at Woolaw, a farm some 5 miles west of Otterburn, from at least the begining of the 16th century until the end of the 18th century. There is considerable evidence of the Coxons at Woolaw over the generations, but little hard evidence to show which son suceeded which father. For a fuller discussion see my document "The Coxons of Woolaw". See also the manuscripts of W Percy Hedley, cited here, author of "Northumbrian Families", and also the book "The story of Redesdale" by Beryl Charlton (also cited) which appears to draw heavily on the work of W Percy Hedley.6,1,7,8 - Historical Note: Poll Book 1748.- George Coxon, Rattenraw; Anthony Coxon, Woolaw; Edward Coxon, Rattenraw.7
- Historical Note: A lease of dwelling house & land belonging to Robert Anderson in High Rochester in 1755 mentions one "Anthony Coxon, gentleman of Moolaw". Allowing for miss recording of Moolaw for Woolaw, this seems to refer to our Anthony.9
